Yesterday we had the great opportunity to participate in KIRO7 Seattle’s Mobile Tweetup with Jenni Hogan. KIRO 7 Eyewitness News partnered with Brotherton Cadillac Buick GMC, Northwest Center, and Big Fish Games for the 4th Annual Northwest Harvest Baby Days Drive. From March 1 until March 29 the CLEAR team collected baby food, formula and diapers to donate to Northwest Harvest.

The donations collected at CLEAR headquarters
The Baby Days drive continues until April 5 but our big donation was during the Mobile Tweetup. Together, the CLEAR team donated over $1,000 to Northwest Harvest. That apart of a preliminary estimate of around 32,000 items donated…and still counting!
What is a mobile Tweetup you ask? Here it is explained from KIRO7 TV:
he concept is simple: Tweetups traditionally bring Twitter users together in a single spot (meetup + Twitter = Tweetup). During a Mobile Tweetup, KIRO 7 and Jenni Hogan bring the Tweetup to you. Donation stations are set up in advance of the Tweetup to collect for whichever cause the Tweetup is supporting. On the day of the Tweetup, Jenni and a crew of sponsors and supporters drive around to each predetermined location to pick up the donations. Along the way, they Tweet what they’re up to while we livestream the event on kirotv.com.
Here are a few fun images of Jenni Hogan and the KIRO7 team arriving at our office:
